About the legacy scholarship
The Legacy Scholarship Fund consists of traditional educational scholarships awarded to graduating seniors attending an institution of post-secondary education. In 2025, the Community First Champion Center awarded a $1,000 scholarship to three very deserving Individuals! In 2026, our goal is to award three individuals each with a $1,000 scholarship once again!
Scholarship Eligibility
- Resident of one of the communities in the Fox Cities Tourism Zone (Grand Chute, Kaukauna, Appleton, Menasha, Neenah, Kimberly, Town of Neenah, Little Chute, Fox Crossing and Sherwood). Please verify (check property tax statement or water utility bill) that you live in one of these municipalities. The municipality in which you live in may not be the same as your postal mailing address.
- Participated in an event at the Community First Champion Center (As an athlete, coach, or staff member)
- The Legacy Scholarship Committee will consider the following categories with equal weight to each:
- GPA
- Financial Need
- Community Involvement / Service
- Leadership
